Beautiful. Thank you. I will read her writings. I never heard of her until Julie Roys mentioned her name. I want to learn more. I’m grateful you are picking up some of the spiritual baton Rachel left behind. Thank you Becky. I want you to know you reflect Rachel’s spirit. I bear witness to that personally. Your care for me has helped me renew my own passion to care for myself and care for others; especially women. Thank you Becky💜

Thank you, Beth! I really enjoyed A Year of Biblical Womanhood. It’s so funny and poignant--a great memoir. I am currently listening to Searching for Sunday. It’s a sad listen because she recorded the audio book herself. I think it’s right what I need now.

wow I'd never seen that open letter to Scot. Do you know if he's read it, Becky?

Yes, he has! And I saw on Twitter today, Kris said she had forgotten about it.

I'll never forget walking up to a group of ministry colleagues in a previous denomination and hearing a guy say loudly, "Rachel Held Evans was a false teacher" and I just burst out laughing. He and the group were shocked I would laugh at this; I was shocked that he would characterize her like that.

I always appreciated RHE: she was as kind as she was brilliant.

I'm listening to Searching for Sunday now, and her love for the church just flows through it.
